BAHAWALPUR: The Uch Sharif police claimed to have busted a gang involved in activating SIMs illegally and recovered 1,100
SIMs, 31 cell phones and 14 illegally-activated SIMs. Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, DPO Sohail Habib Tajik said it was revealed during the investigation of the kidnap of Quetta DPO Dr Saeed Ahmad the kidnappers had used a SIM for contact and ransom, which had been illegally activated from Ahmedpur East. He said a team arrested Muhammad Ahmad, Imran Shah and Irfan.
